The key finding is that how students study and learn is changing: " While most universities advocate that students work no more than 12-16 hours per week while enrolled in a full time course, almost a third of students who maintain a full time job are working 16 hours or more per week according to the survey, which questioned both higher education and further education students across the UK. University isn't the only place to learn these things anymore.

Reflecting on a month in China

As I overheard one tourist saying – ‘China never fails to surprise’ Our final 10 days were spent back in Beijing at the Foreign Studies University, where my husband was lecturing in leadership and talking to students about their aspirations for future study. Whilst the students and staff of the Foreign Studies University spoke very good English, taxi drivers, waiters, shop staff do not. From October 8 th to November 2 nd , I was in China.
