IBM Global CMO Study: Highlights

In IBM's  2011 IBM CMO Study  they interviewed more than 1,700 of the world’s most prominent Chief Marketing Officers – face to face – to find out what they feel is important for their success.  According to the IBM CMO Study, while 79 percent of CMOs expect high levels of complexity in their job over the next five years, only 48 percent feel prepared to deal with it. Prescient Releases the Social Intranet Study

Prescient Digital Media will be officially releasing their report on the Social Intranet Study at the Intranet Global Forum conference in NYC, Nov 9-10. The study examines social media use on corporate intranets, and the magnitude, use and popularity of social media by employees and executives. Fortune 500 Blogging Study

Nora Ganim Barnes at the University of Massachusetts and Eric Mattson at Financial Insite recently released a study on the Fortune 500 and Blogging. The study found that eighty-one (16%) of the 2008 Fortune 500 have a public-facing corporate blog. The study reported that of the top 100 Fotune 500 companies, 38% (31 companies) have a corporate blog. The study says that, “these blogs are kept current with frequent posts on a range of topics.
