However. He replaced it with two new ones from Triple D on the Food Network.

Good Advice for Content Curators

Rob Paterson used the Awareness Engine as he acted as a content curator for the St. Louis community around the topic of immigration through their PBS station, KETC. Sean Carton  wrote an interesting piece, Become a Content Curation King. He first noted that this high flying buzzword is not actually a word. My spell checker agrees but I am sure that Webster will add it soon.

I think that the old media organizations that recognize this will be winners and many already have such the PBS St. Louis affiliate, KETC, where my colleague Rob Paterson did some interesting work as they looked to integrate TV with social media. A recent article by Clayton Morris, Study Reveals Changing Role of iPads, Tablet PCs found that 70 percent of tablet owners and 68 percent of smart phone owners use their devices while watching television.

I have just cancelled the two US workshops -- in Chicago and Atlanta -- and at this time, will be spending a couple of extra days in St Louis instead. before heading to London on Friday night. I'm disappointed. I was looking forward to meeting those who signed up. Obviously, monies will be refunded in full. Many celebrations are being held today to honor St. This day has special meaning for me as sixty seven years ago today my parents married in St. Louis. This is a break from my SXSW notes. Patrick. My father was still in the US Army, having just returned from the South Pacific and my mother worked for the Army in administration.

I flew to St Louis to meet Professor Fred Niederman of St Louis University. Fred showed great St Louis hospitality, driving me around the city, showing me the famous St Louis arch and various of the other sights, and even taking me home for a home cooked meal prepared by Nini, his wife. I flew from St Louis to New York, and camped out at JFK airport for 11 hours or so.

As per my trip schedule , I have stops in Santa Monica, Chicago, Atlanta, St Louis, Vienna, London, Copenhagen, Switzerland, and maybe Paris. It's almost time to bid farewell to New Zealand for a couple of weeks, and head to the US for a week of consulting and workshops, and then across to Europe for the same. What's the word for such travel? Grueling, I think. Anyway. I'm looking forward to meeting and speaking with many new people.
