Review of Four Days in Poland

Michael Sampson - Currents

My time in Poland has come to an end. A few comments after leaving: 1. It was a privilege to visit Poland, and I was very grateful for the opportunity. While I only went outside on two of the four days I was there, and only spent one day doing sightseeing, I’m glad I visited. One of the surprising things I have mentioned to a number of people is how inexpensive everything was. A taxi ride that would be $50 in New Zealand was only $20 in Poland. A suitcase (I didn’t buy it!)

We began by discussing Connections 3.0, released in 2011, that has expanded features to support communities.

The Psychology of Collaboration - Dr Irene Greif for Technology Review

Michael Sampson - Currents

As part of their series on collaboration, Jodi from Technology Review interviewed Irene Greif at IBM about the psychology of collaboration. Review of the Driving Effective Use of #Office365 Workshop (Auckland, August 2015)

Michael Sampson - Currents

Earlier this week I ran the Driving Effective Use of Office 365 Workshop in Auckland. The participants were generally from large organizations in New Zealand already using Office 365 (one had SharePoint on-premises, but was investigating Office 365), and were more towards the beginning of their journey with the new environment. Hence the workshop aligned almost perfectly with their planning activities, although one participant did mention she’d wished the workshop had run six months ago.
