Media Portrayal of IBM, Lotusphere, and SharePoint - What?

Michael Sampson - Currents

I've attended Lotusphere 2012 this past week. But to pivot IBM's whole approach at Lotusphere around SharePoint being a document coffin - which in reality SharePoint is for some companies - is wrong. It was my first time, and as I wrote a couple of days ago , IBM talked about some big things. I was impressed as the vision casting - I hadn't expected that as such, but felt it came across well.

Why Lotusphere 2009 Is Important

Collaborative Thinking

This year's Lotusphere could very well be a make-or-break moment for the Lotus brand and solution portfolio. Lotusphere 2007 and Lotusphere 2008 were the first two events where IBM actually began to act like they had heard that "3:00 in the morning wake-up call" made popular in the U.S. IBM needs a message that resonates beyond the "Notes faithful" that attend Lotusphere each ear.
