I last covered LA restaurants in 2006 see - Los Angeles Restaurants: A Local’s Favorites. Los Angeles, CA 90036 ?(323) It is located at 4854 Fountain Avenue Los Angeles, CA 90029 (323) 661.1109. Here is an update based on my recent trip guided again by a friend in the movie business that knows good LA spots. Cube provided our lunch and was good that we had to go back for dinner.

Square One provided our first breakfast in LA (see - Los Angeles Dining Update – February 2009 ) last month. It is located at 4854 Fountain Avenue Los Angeles, CA 90029 (323) 661.1109.This place also offered some of the best photo ops which I am sharing a few below. I especially like the embracing bacon. I had a variation on eggs benedict with salmon on a potato pancake and grits on the side. How could I resist this? Fortunately my cholesterol runs low.

Greg Papadopoulo s, CTO of Sun Microsystems, said that now we’re impressed when Google searches a sea of information for us in mere seconds but we should be dissatisfied with this mode of search. In the future, he said, search will be done for us.

While I was in Los Angeles, I was struck by the evolution of the road system. Theses on Sustainability : [18] NO, THERE IS NO PRECEDENT for what we are struggling to create. We have to make it up ourselves. A great set of theses which ends with this one. And therefore the capacities to create what is unprecedented are also unprecedented. Best practices for what will be needed in the future are not available at any scale in the precedent.

  Examples include, Radio’s Air America , New York Times, and Los Angeles Times Here in more on what to expect in 2010 but it extends to the decade.    Ross Dawson posted his top 10 trends for the 2010s and called it the most exciting decade in human history. I wonder if we can say that at the start of every decade with increasing technology. I still look fondly back at the 1960s but more for personal reasons.
