Over at Focus.com, John recently asked What electronic devices (phone, laptop, etc.) do you travel with? In just over a week, it's had 17 answers. Looking over the 17 answers, a phone and laptop are the two essential items. Some people carry a lot more - like Chip who talks about "the stuff that supports the stuff." In my response, I listed what I carry on an international trip, which usually requires me to give presentations, hold workshops, and be away for 1-2 weeks. So yes, I carry a lot too.
