“Designing Social Cities of Tomorrow” workshop – presentation notes

Prior to this conference, a three-day “Designing Social Cities of Tomorrow” workshop was held in which international participants from various professional backgrounds collaborated with local stakeholder organisations on 4 real-world urban cases : Urban Pioneers Zeeburgereiland (Amsterdam), Haagse Havens (The Hague), Strijp-S (Eindhoven), and Amsterdam Civic Innovator Network. On February 16, the results of this workshop were presented in a sold-out hall.

March 2 was pre-conference day at IntraTeam Event 2010 , in Copenhagen. I ran one of the workshops in the morning, running from 9.40am to 1pm. My topic was "Crafting Your User Adoption Strategy", and was delighted to have 30-40 people in attendance for the first (and major) part of workshop. There were a couple of other workshops going on at the same time that obviously I could not attend: one on personas (by Simon), and one on Intranet Benchmarking (by Andrew).
