I will be presenting a round of workshops in different European cities in October. The first week of my tour is booked, and there are various organizations with some interest in the second week. I’ll have to wait to see what comes of that interest, and whether those move through to firm bookings. Ten days ago my Europe Tour for June 2010 was looking great. I had a keynote presentation to deliver at a SharePoint conference, a few days of consulting here and there, and a couple of SharePoint Roadmap masterclasses to present. I was scheduled to leave on June 19, and was really looking forward to it. As of today, the tour is cancelled. There appears to be a complex of factors at play: - Competing events in London meant that my masterclass wouldn't work on the date we chose. -

My Europe trip in February and March 2010 is in its final hours. I have about 30 hours of sitting on a plane to get back to New Zealand, and then it's at an end. I've had a blast. I have really enjoyed being here -- seeing new things, going to new countries (Norway, Ireland, Hong Kong -- on the way home!), and going through Heathrow lots of times. Seriously, I really like Heathrow. there's something about what it means for international travel that make me stand in wonderment.

Heading Back to Europe - a Week in Norway and London

I had a great couple of weeks in Europe in early October, and was barely back into New Zealand time and a couple of opportunities came about to travel back again. I'm currently at Christchurch airport, awaiting a flight to Auckland, to get an international flight to Oslo (via Hong Kong and Heathrow). I'll be in Oslo for 3 days, with a client workshop on user adoption on Monday and Tuesday. And then I'm jumping (figuratively) back to London, for two days of meetings.

I'll be presenting at a conference in Belgium on Friday October 5, and the event I was waiting to confirm has been confirmed - so I'll be in Sweden on October 4. Now that I'm back from my recent trip to the United States, I'm getting into the immediate projects I have waiting, as well as forward planning for an upcoming trip to Europe and the United Kingdom. What I do know is that I have a conference presentation to give on collaboration in Belgium on Friday October 5. The other four days are currently available for consulting, a private in-house workshop, or a public seminar.
