The power of silent learners

Jenny Connected

This week I attended a webinar which focussed on silent learners. Thank you to Martina Emke for drawing this webinar to my attention. The title immediately resonated as recently I have found myself increasingly troubled by the constant noise of the online environment.

We’ve had a drought in the part of New Zealand I live in. There’s been little rain for months, and the ground has shown the lack thereof. But it started raining – thankfully – last week, which has been good for Canterbury, but has had a less ideal response up north.

Blog>> Survey on Knowledge Audits

Green Chameleon

I’m currently working on a book about knowledge audits and knowledge mapping. I’d like to get a better sense of the variety of understandings of knowledge audits that exists out in the professional community. Here’s a short survey that should take between 10 and 20 minutes of your time – do take it, and recommend it to others. Responses are anonymous, but if you leave your email address, I will share the survey results when completed. Thank you!

San Francisco

Michael Sampson - Currents

Last month I flew to San Francisco for a week of meetings. My new colleagues at Silverside were coming across for a conference the week of February 20, so we split the distance and met half way. We held three days of planning meetings for 2017 and then did the conference thing; me for one day, and the others for the full three days. Some comments about San Francisco and the time there: 1. Mixed Remote and In-Person Meetings.
