Painting of Yellow Orchids New Orleans

Portals and KM

Here is a quick small pairing of yellow orchids. I started it as a demonstration for the CCEC art class that Cindy and I did on Tuesday. I decided to finish it yesterday as a hopeful sign that our country is heading in a new direction.

Painting of Duck Confit with Duck Fat Fries

Portals and KM

Here is a 16" x 20" acrylic painting of duck confit with duck fat fries. This was our most popular dish while we were in France this summer. We even cooked it at home several times. This work was done from a photo I took at a small cafe on the Left Bank in Paris.

The guest for this third week of Stephen Downes’ E-Learning 3.0 MOOC was Ben Werdmuller. I took a screenshot from the Hangout, because he has such a winning smile. Just what you need for a difficult topic!
