Michael Sampson - Currents

According to this argument, we could conclude that a team was being "collaborative" if they used collaboration software - Traction TeamPage, Yammer, Atlassian Confluence, Central Desktop, or any one of the other alternatives. In my Making Collaboration Work monthly newsletter for June, I wrote about three possible ways of seeing whether collaboration was taking place.

John Tropea - Delicious Collaboration

A big part of the role of KM (or whatever you want to call it) is the development of shared contexts between groups within an organisation because without that shared context you cant transfer anything. This is a non-trivial task and many groups wont follow something imposed on them from outside. Nevertheless, allowing groups to identify commonalities in their work is an important part of that.
