Moxie Software announced new integration options between Employee Spaces and various other enterprise collaboration and communication tools, including SharePoint, Outlook, Skype (for presence availability), and Atlassian Confluence, among others: " Microsoft SharePoint Integration. Also, edited and saved SharePoint documents can be automatically synchronized with linked folders in Employee Spaces. These (and the other integrations) are good additions to Employee Spaces.

Four Examples of Wikis Working within the Enterprise

The first two used Traction Team Page , NYK used Atlassian's Confluence and the SAP example did not mention a vendor. SDN employees rank wiki posts based on their content and value to the community. A recent Computerworld article, Wikis that work: Four IT departments get it right , provides early adopters success stories at Enel, ShoreBank, NYK, and SAP. If I understand JR correctly, his point is that collaboration tools are great for specific teams. However each team works in its own context and this leads to the creation of silos which prevents cross-organisational leveraging of this material. He also notes that this cannot be solved simply by the implementation of a search tool. I agree with him.
