New Year non-resolutions. #ds106 #dailycreate

Jenny Connected

I will not get to see Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam, although I hope this might happen in 2015 or after. I picked up this idea from a tweet by Alan Levine - @cogdog. People having lots of fun with today’s #ds106 #dailycreate of Non-Resolutions tdc.ds106.us/tdc722/ Love one by @Downes (“the Cossack”??). What a great idea – so much more satisfying than the usual alternative of declaring resolutions which we know we will never keep.

Honor Among Thieves: A Review

Viv Mcwaters

Set in Cambodia and Washington, DC, the story evolves around Mary-Anne, whom we met in the first of the trilogy Missionary, Mercenary, Mystic, Misfit. Edges are interesting places. Unpredictable stuff happens there.

One word for 2010…

Viv Mcwaters

I’ve travelled to amazing places – Myanmar and Sri Lanka and Cambodia, Heron Island and London, Helsinki and Kuala Lumpar. Sometimes a little structure, a commitment is just what I need.

johnnie's response - kiva chain

Engineers without Fears

A budding construction magnet from Cambodia, he is the first recipient of EwF's largesse. I like Cambodia and like the idea of him building stuff - in part because it links to Annette's poem (though I am sure things will end better for him). Meet Johnnie.

Inspire: create, collect, share! My time at the '09 NTC

Influence

My section focused on a case study of storytelling in the field, when I was a Congressional Hunger Fellow in Cambodia and Kenya from 2005-2007. I literally just rolled off the red-eye back from the 2009 Non Profit Technology Conference (NTC '09), and although I'm exhausted - both physically and mentally - I'm hopeful and excited about everything I heard and saw. This year I was fortunate enough to play a very active role at the conference.
