Meetrix has created an open standards-based Sametime platform that integrates seamlessly with third party vendors up in the cloud, including integrations with Broadsoft for VoIP/IP Telephony and Polycom. This is another a series of my notes on Lotusphere 2011. I am very pleased to be back after ten years. I first came to co-present a Lotus Notes based KM project with my client. IBM was kind to set up some individual interviews.

While these services are far from perfect due to questions about scoring algorithms and the ability for individuals to artificially inflate scores , they can be integral parts of social marketing and CRM efforts. It also integrates into the social component core, so comments can be displayed on user profile pages. I wanted to make sure they were well supported , had good developers behind them , integrated with each other , and easy to customize.
