Meetrix has created an open standards-based Sametime platform that integrates seamlessly with third party vendors up in the cloud, including integrations with Broadsoft for VoIP/IP Telephony and Polycom. This is another a series of my notes on Lotusphere 2011. I am very pleased to be back after ten years. I first came to co-present a Lotus Notes based KM project with my client. IBM was kind to set up some individual interviews.

Widgets let you integrate all the other things you do on the web. Your tag cloud, for instance, shows your links that are of interest to you. Blogger allows you to show your picasaweb photos. For blogger, you can find a widget here. It will display your tags in a beautiful cloud formation (or the top tags of any blog.) Blogger allows you to display your categories in the sidebar, which has a similar function, even though it is not displayed in a tagcloud.

Now I return as a blogger.    Lotus Live users can now run Domino apps in the IBM cloud. Suzanne Livingston showed us real time collaboration in the cloud, including email. Part of this is increased integration, even with Exchange.

Blogging tool - Wordpress, Typepad or Blogger. Sure, that could be MyYahoo, Netvibes or iGoogle instead of PageFlakes; and Typepad or Blogger instead of Wordpress. Particularly because although nearly 80% of my business network is on LinkedIn, most of them are not active Bloggers. Though I think the next smart startup wont concentrate so much on integrating with email, as much as integrating with mobile messaging.
