Hildy Gottlieb

So if you live in Arizona, let’s dive into Step 1. What would Arizona look like if it were the place you would want to grow up, raise kids, grow old? What would Arizona look like if it were a healthy, vibrant, resilient, humane place to love for… • a child? •

It makes sense - mosquitoes breed in standing water and don't travel far, so for those affected, a little neighbourly collaboration can make all the difference. Suggestions include 'holding block parties to talk about mosquitoes' (who could resist?) and.  and. 'When 'When your neighbors go on vacation, offer to police their yards.

What I Did on my Summer Vacation

Hildy Gottlieb

I had time to plan our first official immersion course for on-the-ground changemakers, working with the Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona to co-sponsor a session for Arizona orgs focused on empowering women and girls. Ok, so it wasn’t a vacation – not by a long stretch.

One reason why I love English football

Chris Corrigan

there are no real home teams, and with the exception of a few that will never leave, the NHL can whimsically move franchises hither and yon, even to the desert of Arizona if they wish, which on the face of it doesn’t seem like a very good place to move a team from Winnipeg.
