John Tropea - Delicious Collaboration

A lot of what I discovered in my social theory education enlightened me about the degree to which we are programmed by our environments, culture, and institutions, and especially by the media. Collaboration vs sharing

John Tropea - Delicious Collaboration

Engineers without Fears Sunday, October 14, 2007 Collaboration vs sharing James Robertson talks about collaboration tools as anti-knowledge sharing. If I understand JR correctly, his point is that collaboration tools are great for specific teams. the terms “social networks&# and “social media&# have been distracting me, making me think these things refer to something that happens online. Reply March 18, 2010 Cole Tucker permalink I have experienced a great growth of trust, enabled by social media, similar to that you have described. I think that the transparency provided by social media, especially in its revealing the structure of networks, drives the growth of trust.
