Many of the sessions were practically focused on how a specific organization was approaching their intranet, from a certain perspective – such as design, engagement, integration, etc. What was less good was that the technology underpinning all that work has been discontinued by the vendor (Cisco Social / Cisco Quad), with no migration path to anything else from that vendor (although the vendor has partnered with Jive).

Pulling It All Together - Michael's Comments on Lotusphere 2012

Michael Sampson - Currents

The integration of Notes Mail and Exchange into the Connections interface for users, so they can see their newer Connections material alongside their traditional email, is a good move. Bridging the two worlds will help move people away from a sole reliance on email, and will facilitate a step-wise migration to different ways of collaborating. I haven't always agreed with the approaches being advocated, but that's a better problem to have than the topics not being discussed at all.

When I launched the SIKM Leaders Community in 2005, it was intended for KM leaders at consulting and systems integration firms, hence the title of SIKM. If so, approach its leader about expanding it to include your topic.
