The Harvest: After Event Reflections

Nancy White

Harvest time. The harvest. Reflection is a form of harvest. I wanted to point out some examples of how people have shared out their harvest on blogs, tweets, and other social media to create external value. How can this “harvest&# feed, rather than rot in a pile?

Precision in harvest planning.

Since 2007 when Monica Nissen, Silas Lusias and I sat down at Phil and Laura Cass’s kitchen table to write up our thinking on the Art of Harvesting I have been a keen student of the art and practice of meaning making, sensing, visualizing and sharing the fruits of our work. Communities Manifesto

John Tropea - Delicious Community

The benefits of being more inclusive have been many, including a wider range of presenters on the monthly calls, participants in the online discussions, experiences, and perspectives. The rule of thumb is that 10% of the members will participate at all, and only 1% will regularly be active in discussions and presentations. If so, ask if you can take over the leadership, or harvest the membership list to start the new one.

Hiring is, of course, a crucially important type of interconnection; McKinsey believes that it’s far too important to be handled in a freeform manner, and so has adopted a PP-like approach.

How to Save the World

Is it possible, I ask myself, that all of them are participants in a crime of stupefying proportions? the need for more slaves on the farms to feed the new post-harvest automation. to automate harvesting, import foreign workers (or offshore the whole process to countries unconcerned with "moral evils"), or use the land for something more profitable and less labour-intensive. it is simply a lifestyle that some people decide to adopt.
