Anyway, the schedule for the first week is: - Tuesday October 7, Doing Business with IBM Connections workshop in Poland with Epacta (public seminar, contact Epacta for registration details). Wednesday October 8, Practice of Collaboration Workshop in Switzerland with a client (private workshop, in-house). Friday October 10, tentatively booked. Tuesday October 14.

It’s hard to travel specifically to such events from New Zealand, but when it works in with other travel routing it works great.

Knowledge Plaza is hosting a webinar on October 28 to provide an update on new capabilities. SharePoint and Mac. The Mac BU at Microsoft is working on an offline SharePoint tool for Mac users, but it's not just a Mac edition of SharePoint Workspace. " It will not be a Mac equivalent of Groove, the Office collaboration desktop client that will become SharePoint Workspace in the upcoming Office 2010, the SharePoint team told ZDNet UK.

This change took place in July for Windows Live, and is scheduled for AOL in October 2009. Cisco Wants TANDBERG. Cisco made a US$3 billion offer for TANDBERG, and TANDBERG's board of directors likes the sound of it. Under the terms of the agreement, Cisco will commence a cash tender offer to purchase all the outstanding shares of TANDBERG for 153.5 Norwegian Kroner per share for an aggregate purchase price of approximately $3.0 billion.
