I’m not sure how this can be achieved, other than to be aware that there is probably an alternative perspective and there may be things I am missing. Mejias believes that there are things we can do politically to address this; choices are important; research will have to become more open.

Open web, newcomers and community tools

I guess it had to do not only with the state of things on the web but also with my own processes of learning in other spaces and building up enough energy to rejoin in the open. And there are more people who come back home to what they have known before “the silos Siren’s lured us in” as Ton Zijlstra eloquently writes : Returning to the open web is in that sense not a difficult step to make. Tools change, but I know enough about them to figure out what is needed.
