I had to decide whether an invited speaker counts as a course participant for this activity. Graph is the Topic for Week 3 of Stephen Downes’ E-Learning 3.0 Again, he has provided a good Synopsis – see [link].

These weekly conversations with different guest speakers are proving very interesting – a window into another world, for me. The guest for this third week of Stephen Downes’ E-Learning 3.0 MOOC was Ben Werdmuller. I took a screenshot from the Hangout, because he has such a winning smile.

We were also offered the opportunity to listen to speakers who, for personal reasons, have found that Iain McGilchrist’s writing on the Divided Brain – resonates with their practice. Bonita is a passionate speaker, and it was, I think, impossible not to be inspired by her story.

Beat the Conference Blahs

Partnering Resources

Several speakers share knowledge at the beginning of the day to whet people’s thinking and lay a foundation for conversation. The venue, the spaces used for breakout sessions, the speakers, and the times allotted to each segment of the agenda are all things we care about deeply.
