Twitter just announced @anywhere platform – notice who is missing? Anyway here’s my thoughts, right after the Twitter blog/press release : When we designed Twitter, we took a different approach—we didn’t require a relationship model like that of a social network. We’ve developed a new set of frameworks for adding Google! Dunno why, Bing is there, but there must be a war forming  between Twits vs Googlers.

I’ve decided to create myself a SXSW-free Twitter. Unfortunately I only have a half-way-house solution feeding the Twitter stream through Yahoo Pipes and hacking out all SXSW mentions. For those that don’t know Yahoo Pipes it is a way of producing mashups and filters using a graphical interface for connect up “pipes of data” and little processing units. Right, that’s it. I’ve had enough of not being at SXSW and getting assailed with people going to cool lectures, eating Tex-Mex and drinking cocktails.

We’ve looked at some such examples before with how organisations can use Twitter . When I was thinking of a title for a session on Twitter at the Enterprise 2.0 People have turned their Twitter avatars green in support of the protests. Type "#Iranelection" in the Twitter search bar and endless tweets come up. Just since I started writing this post, 846 more tweets have come up with the same hash conference next week here in Boston, I, of course, had no idea what would transpire in Iran a few months hence. To conclude Twitter week on Portals and KM, I want to share 10 Ways Twitter Will Change Blog Design in 2009 by Rachel Cunliffe on Mashable. I find that many people already list their twitter feed – I do. am suggesting to my blog clients to list all the active twitters in their firm on their blog in this manner. I am reorganizing her content to reflect its availability and then providing my thoughts in most cases.
