A variety of iWidget widgets available in the catalog - after you read the 5900+ word licensing agreement - it's pretty straight-forward. Also, in the Twitter widget -I read this, " When prompted provide your Twitter account information.This will be stored into Notes account preferences and will be a one time setting." Do you like the widgets that are available on Lotus Connections in the Greenhouse, like the Facebook, Flickr, But I'm looking for a statement of direction on OpenSocial.

While you are reading the presentation outline below I’d like you to think about the Twitter change today. Today Twitter turned off “see replies to those I’m not following”. Twitter are planning changing it - you won’t see my tweet at all.
Therefore if I’m having a conversation with @garyphayes , and you follow me but not him, you used to see my conversation, even though it’s “one sided” for you. This has sever impact for Twitters “ripple-ability”.

Somewhere during the discussion, I wondered aloud how OpenSocial should be compared/contrasted and put into perspective within the enterprise as the most viable widget/gadget effort around. The asymmetric model used by Twitter, where each individual chooses people to follow, to manage their own attention. In particular, there was a lot of discomfort with the assumption that the container During the Enterprise 2.0 event in Boston last year, I moderated a discussion between IBM and Oracle on the topic of portals and its relation to Enterprise 2.0.

To conclude Twitter week on Portals and KM, I want to share 10 Ways Twitter Will Change Blog Design in 2009 by Rachel Cunliffe on Mashable. I find that many people already list their twitter feed – I do. am suggesting to my blog clients to list all the active twitters in their firm on their blog in this manner.
I am reorganizing her content to reflect its availability and then providing my thoughts in most cases.
