Twitter has quickly become the must-have channel for conference back-chat. Twitter is also a great way to attend a conference without actually being there – just follow a conference hashtag (e.g. #smib09 But watch out Twitter. It’s worth pointing out that Twitter Image courtesy of Shutterstock

Participants explored the use of web-based social and collaboration technologies and their use in transforming congressional engagement with the public.
The Congressional staffers view social media and related Web 2.0 They are committed to advancing OpenGov initiatives and are looking for best practices and case studies to assist them in improving their use of Web 2.0 Last weekend, Forum One participated in CongressCamp at George Washington University. CongressCamp was an unconference focused on the Congress side of Gov 2.0.
