Ever since I organised the “ Drupal for Doughnuts ” gathering during social media week back in January, all I seem to hear about is Drupal . Here at FreshNetworks we have always believed in the power of Drupal, which is why we’ve chosen to use it as our social media software platform. Sony crowd-sources name for new online community Sony this week launched a beta version of it’s new online community this week at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Welcome to our round-up of all that's new, controversial or just plain weird on the social media scene in the last few days. Luckily, a slew of brands launched social media campaigns this week, and heading the pack is First Direct, with a campaign that aims at total transparency. Sony’s Crackle.com partnered with YouTube for a full-length screening of the cult classic Taxi Driver, which includes the audience’s real-time Twitter updates.
