I interviewed him about the use of Yammer as an internal microblogging tool. At our department with 50 people there was a need for more knowledge and news to share. Yammer is a internal sort of Twitter. In addition, a small group that has the role to encourage people to use Quagga. Godfried Knipscheer works as digital communications advisor to the Flemish government in Belgium and is project leader of a social media project. There are many meetings, meetings and seminars, but knowledge was not structurally shared.

Cameron is dismantling the bubble and is relocating his office next to the internal cafe, without any special refurbishment to his new space. Yesterday I popped out for a meeting at the National Australia Bank. They have a new CEO, Cameron Clyne, and last week he announced a restructure that has substantially flattened the organisation. Continuing my series of podcast conversations about the use of social media in international development, this wee we have Gauresh Rajadhyaksh who works with the Development Prospects Group ( [link] ), a central think-tank unit within the World Bank . Gauresh’s role has been in managing this system creation and its strategic planning as a tool for collaboration and communication. The unit monitors economic indicators, analyzes developments in real and financial markets and produces World Bank forecasts for the global economy ( [link] )

A detailed example of an internal value network for technical repair This blog is adapted from the paper, “Value Creating Networks: Organizational Issues and Challenges,” being published in November by Emerald in The Learning Organization Special Issue on Social Networks and Social Networking . In the following figures the thick black lines and comments show where the group identified significant gaps in their own understanding of the roles, relationships, and interactions in the activity. This example demonstrates how value network modeling can bring fresh insights into even long established organizational structures and processes.
