CIO Magazine reported that Forrester recently released new research that indicates that despite the advent of heaper alternatives to Microsoft Office , Office remains strong. The Forrester results found that nearly 92 percent are supporting either Office 2007 or Office 2003 or earlier. Forrester's also found that “a large majority of companies surveyed have plans to upgrade to Office It continues to mostly shut the alternatives out of the enterprises despite reduced budgets and a struggling economy. However, they did say that as the economy worsens cheaper alternatives
