Today I put up a page on the workshops I’ve been doing, as well as outing my own graphic practices page . Graphic Facilitation Workshops
Beyond doing graphic recording myself , I offer two kinds of workshops on the practice of graphic recording and facilitation. Well, I guess it is time to walk my talk and declare I CAN DRAW. After doing it on the side, teaching it to others, I realized it was time to declare this part of my practice on my website.

It was in “helping” “save” the community after Howard lost funding that I had my first big online facilitation failure. It was my urgency to figure this out that set me on my professional path as a practitioner and learner about online facilitation. This was where I had the amazing opportunity to co-facilitate an online workshop with Mihaela Moussou (now Michele Paradise). This afternoon I’m spending a half hour on a Skype video conversation to share a bit of how I use social media. I

Last month I had the pleasure of co-graphic-recording with the amazing Mariah Howard at the ASI Agriculture Sustainability Symposium in Davis, California. When Tom said I could bring in a second person, I said “A Graphic Recorder!” 8221; I had done some recording as I facilitated last year, but this time the content would be so dense and coming so fast, there was no way I could do it alone, nor do it I have some of the pictures here and am attempting a slideshow embed below!

I love things you can touch and play with when facilitating face to face. This is probably why I was so attracted to the “drawing on walls” involved in graphic facilitation , kinesthetic modeling and just plain PLAY as a way to work together.

Ever since I was turned on to this thing called “Graphic Recording” or “ Graphic Facilitation ” my work has changed. When I facilitate F2F I have my paper, pens and chalk and try at some point to use visuals to focus, capture or catalyze what is going on in the room. graphic recording
with I have amazed myself at what I have been able to produce - and I make that same claim “I don’t know how to draw!”
