They explained that one of the great benefits of the work was not technical at all – it provided an opportunity for people to meet others in the community that they might not otherwise get to know. Social tech for social cohesion.

And since the river connects the various communities, and Pochamama is Pochamama for all, Pochamama also represents also the condition for the preservation of all communities. This discourse is actually extended, as around the Yasumi there is a discursive recomposition that exceeds the struggle and the preservation of Massimo de Angelis report on the Yasuni’s struggle against petroleum extraction in the Ecuadorian Amazon region, based and inspired by their “Mother Earth” related deity Pochamama, clearly discusses the same links we discuss in our section on neotraditional economics, and why these linkages between pre-industrial and post-industrial thinking and practices are important, see here for details.

Managing staff who participate in social networks.
This list also includes policies called; Staff blogging policies, enterprise social network guidelines, Employee Blogging Policies, Staff engagement in online communities, and so on. I’ve done a few press (radio, print) interviews this week re: Telstra so I thought I should have another look at how Enterprise, Government, Corporates, Not for Profits are handling the fact that their staff are members of social networks too.
I once had to step in to calm down a forum that was off the charts with negativity

At work one of our teams is using a community space in order to use a forum to crowdsource ideas for continuous improvement. There is an indirect value in all the stuff that happened along the way; I learnt so much, I met new people (for future communities and collaboration), and all these people feel valued and recognised…watch out, the mailroom guy may have your next strategic innovation.
the bottom-up content is driving the forums to be created, We got 400 posts in 2 weeks.
Our forum is basic so we don’t have the features that come with crowdsource designed

This afternoon I’m spending a half hour on a Skype video conversation to share a bit of how I use social media. figured it would be good to exercise my memory a bit and unearth some of the key stories that led me to to my social media use today, and perhaps surface some of my patterns. The history approach also shows that while the term “social media” was not in play when I jumped in, the social use of online media has been growing for many I These roots are significant because our patterns of use, our ways of embracing or rejecting technology are

Not long ago I posted on how broad communities can be a fertile ground to sprout new communities, and I also posted about a crowdsourcing exercise to create a community/s.
From then on our idea jam will turn into a perpetual idea’s community, not quite the sophistication of Spigit , but at least we have momentum.
The fact that we now have online social SIDENOTE - after this crowdsourcing exercise the next step it to organise the ideas into categories. Each category will be a new forum, our job is to move ideas into the correct forum.

Social Ripple Social Marketing
The main thing for me was to chat with Affiliate marketers about how social networks pass information around. You don’t need a big social network yourself. They are primarily one-to-many channel (blogger sets theme, tone and subject) and the social network sees the “finished product” - and While you are reading the presentation outline below I’d like you to think about the Twitter change today. Today Twitter turned off “see replies to those I’m not following”.

We’re often asked by companies: “why isn’t my community performing the way I would like it to?” As part of our community management service, our job is to help companies overcome common pitfalls, and to create communities that engage users and achieve their goals. While we’ve written various guides talking about engaging specific audiences, we thought it was worth writing a series of posts on Community Management for all audiences. Taking time to create a plan that will enable you to avoid these holes in the road is much easier than digging yourself out of them. In
