Since 1999, my work has been related to Knowledge Management (KM). Already then, KM was a term that was not well recognised; at the time, we did not label our KM-related consulting services with Knowledge Management. Today I am holding an official position in Knowledge Management, still many people do not grasp the term and have a clear understanding of it. “Knowledge We welcome Tim Wieringa as a guest blogger to Green Chameleon.
Since 8220;Knowledge Management” seems to be fuzzy and not specific enough; it does not refer to daily (work) life topics.

Océ is a leading international provider of digital document management technology and services. For this post I spoke about their SharePoint efforts with Jan van Veen, Manager Internal Communications, in Corporate Communications and Tom Dombret, the technical team lead on the SharePoint effort.

Océ is a leading international provider of digital document management technology and services. Samuel is located in the Netherlands and his responsibilities include both the information architecture for structured data in applications such as PLMS and SAP and the unstructured content in places such as email and knowledge management programs.
Usually knowledge management and IT data management are siloed, limiting the effectiveness of both. A few weeks ago I spoke with Samuel Driessen, Information Architect at Océ , about their enterprise micro-messaging experiences.
