For bloggers, copying and pasting a few lines of code from one source looks pretty much like the line of code from another.
Identity issues would be reduced for one…
Perhaps you hover over the journalist’s name on The Sydney Morning Herald or New York Times and get that popup – though I’ve seen similar with not only Twitter but LinkedIn, Facebook, all of em in the overlay.
Twitter just announced @anywhere platform – notice who is missing? Google!

The Media Buyer Planner reported that the study found that Twitter, blogs, LinkedIn and Facebook - in that order - are the top four social media tools used by marketers. This study is very consistent with others and more good news for business bloggers. Here is another study on the growing use of social media in marketing. In the wiki there are links to Dgroups , as a discussion forum, Blogger weblogs and google calendars for event planning. VSO build a bloggers interface expecially for their volunteer stories. sites are Youtube , Facebook, LinkedIn, Ning, and many others.
