Managing staff who participate in social networks.
This list also includes policies called; Staff blogging policies, enterprise social network guidelines, Employee Blogging Policies, Staff engagement in online communities, and so on. I’ve done a few press (radio, print) interviews this week re: Telstra so I thought I should have another look at how Enterprise, Government, Corporates, Not for Profits are handling the fact that their staff are members of social networks too.

Number of Australian Twitter users for June 2009 was 800,000, according to ComScore.
Over 70% of Australian internet users visited a social networking site in June, a 29% rise from the same time last year, reports comScore.
Facebook in particular demonstrated significant growth; Twitter benefited from sudden mainstream popularity in 2009. Found this over at MarketingCharts :
Nearly nine million Australians visited a social network in June, making it among the more popular content categories online.

Over the past few months I’ve been working on and off with co-authors Andy Gibson , Amy Sample Ward , and Clive Holtham and Nigel Courtney of Cass Business School , on a book about how we can use social technologies for social benefit. The main thing for me was to chat with Affiliate marketers about how social networks pass information around. You don’t need a big social network yourself. They are primarily one-to-many channel (blogger sets theme, tone and subject) and the social network sees the “finished product” - and While you are reading the presentation outline below I’d like you to think about the Twitter change today.
