This is the day of the Super Bowl and I want to wish the best to a very remarkable team that has lifted a wonderful city. When I was in New Orleans this week at Webtrends Engage I saw many signs of support and excitement for the Saints. Win or lose the city will sponsor a parade for the team on Tuesday, the one night that there is no Mardi Gras parade.

A few weeks ago I spoke with Samuel Driessen, Information Architect at Océ , about their enterprise micro-messaging experiences. Océ is a leading international provider of digital document management technology and services. Samuel is located in the Netherlands and his responsibilities include both the information architecture for structured data in applications such as PLMS and SAP and the unstructured content in places such as email and knowledge management programs.

Managing staff who participate in social networks.
This list also includes policies called; Staff blogging policies, enterprise social network guidelines, Employee Blogging Policies, Staff engagement in online communities, and so on. I’ve done a few press (radio, print) interviews this week re: Telstra so I thought I should have another look at how Enterprise, Government, Corporates, Not for Profits are handling the fact that their staff are members of social networks too.
